The clip shows a teacher at Ndabankulu Senior Secondary High School at Ndabakazi Village near Butterworth chasing a pupil around the classroom trying to hit her after lashing her with a stick.
A pupil at the school who refused to be named told Daily Sun that the clip was taken 3 weeks ago. The beating was allegedly over homework witch had not been done properly. The teacher allegedly wanted to give the girl 12 lashes. Zenande ran away after not wanting to get beaten. Pupils said it is common for kids to receive corporal punishment at the school.
